Free for personal use, no account, no attribution. The details, in plain English.
Every image on this site was made by us and is owned by us. Rather than make you guess what that means for you, here's exactly what you can and can't do with it.
None of that requires payment, an account, or a credit line. It's a wallpaper site — use the wallpapers.
These need written permission, which we grant more often than not. Email[email protected] with what you have in mind:
We're straightforward about this because you should know what you're downloading. The images are generated with AI image models running on our own hardware, using prompts written and iterated by us. That's the start of the process, not the end of it.
Each batch produces far more images than we keep. What makes it onto the site is selected by hand for composition, colour and — specifically — whether it works as an actual wallpaper rather than just as a picture: is the top-left dark enough for icons, does the detail sit away from where windows go, does it band in the sky. Roughly nine in ten generated images are discarded. Survivors are upscaled to 3840 × 2160, checked for artefacts, then titled and tagged manually.
That last part matters more than it sounds. Automated tagging on this set produced titles like "Desert Dunes at Night" for a staircase above the clouds. Every title and every tag on this site has been checked against the actual image by a person.
Nothing here depicts a character, logo or design owned by anyone else. Some images are made in an anime-influenced style, which is a visual register and not the property of any studio, but there are no recognisable copyrighted characters anywhere on the site. If you believe an image infringes something, email us and we'll take it down while we look into it.
A download that fails, an image that looks wrong at full size, a title that doesn't match the picture — tell us. [email protected]. We fix these quickly and we'd rather know.
